Custom orders

It's 11.30 on a Saturday night and I'm working away... I started at 5am this morning. I haven't been going all day but I will be tomorrow. Baylee has a fever which likely means no kindy next week and I'll get behind in my orders (again) eek!  I've been going through my orders and including layby's I have well over 60 outfits to get out before Christmas. How awesome is that???  BUT that also means I'm going to have to stop taking any custom orders.  I've cancelled my market date in October but with Bee getting sick it has made me realise that if it happens again or if I get sick (god forbid) then I'll be in trouble. I'm just a one woman show.

If I can get some help this may change and I really didn't want to do this but I must look after my current customers 100% and I wouldn't have it any other way.  You can still order through my website and if I can I will put up new stock as I go. Customer service is so important to me so in order to still receive awesome customer service from me this has got to be the way to go.

If there is any chance that I can squeeze in some customs I will definitely let you all know. Thanks so much for understanding. We are all mum's and every day is unpredictable where kids are concerned and Bee has to be my number 1 priority. :)

  1. Hope that your little one is alright {{HUGS}}

    It is very hard being a one woman show and trying to find the happy medium. Hopefully once things settle down you can get back to where you want to be.

    Go easy

  2. Totally hearing you Dani, Everyone will understand and kidlets defn come first. You are so good at what you do and your customers appreciate this and will be prepared to wait.
    So glad you took a deep breath and told it like it is - now I need to somehow whip up 54 felty bags over the next 2 weeks - thanks for being you xx
    Taking my deep breath now... :)

  3. Good on you Dani! I've said it before too, it is hard to find a balance between family and working from home, but children do come first! And everyone WILL understand. Dont work too hard, but enjoy the work that you do! x

  4. You are inspirational Dani and its' been a pleasure to come across your valued friendship via face book. I have been in awe of what you have been able to achieve and I am so PROUD of any WAHM that juggles the delicate balance between family and work (and even outside jobs as well.)

    One item at a time (that's my motto) and I'm finding it harder to sew and play during the school holidays with my delectable B's xox

    Looking forward to seeing all your beautiful creations as they come along!

    Love you girly, your friend Melsy (Mumma B) xox

  5. Wow girls it's so great to have all the support and friendship from you all!! And I'm sure all my customers will understand as they are all very nice ladies. It was a hard decision but one I had to make.

    Thank you for all your kind words and looking forward to seeing lovely creations from you all.
